Online study material available for students during the lockdown period

Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak and the prevailing lockdown conditions where the government has advised everyone to stay at home, this is to inform that RCERT has started online learning facilities for the students. The ICT initiatives have been taken by MHRD, UGC and the Inter-University Centers (IUCs). Students are advised to use the following digital platforms to continue their studies in this hard time:

SWAYAM Online Courses (

Quality learning material earlier available on the SWAYAM platform can now be accessed by students without any registration and free of cost. Students registered in January 2020 can continue learning as usual. 

UG/ PG MOOCs ( )

Hosts learning material of SWAYAM for UG and PG (Non-Technology) archived courses.

E-PG Pathshala (

Offers top quality online content (e-text and videos) in 70 PG courses like Social Science, Arts, Humanities, Fine Arts, Mathematics through 23000 modules. 

E-Content courseware in UG subjects ( )

Digital learning is provided in 87 UG courses through 24110 e-content modules that are available on the CEC website. 


Students are facilitated with high-quality video-based lifelong learning through the group of 32 DTH channels that are free to air and deliver curriculum-based educational content in disciplines like engineering, technology, science, arts, commerce, medicine, agriculture, law, humanities, social science, etc. The archived videos can also be accessed through the Swayamprabha portal. 

CEC-UGC YouTube channel ( )

Unlimited curriculum-based content can be accessed for free by the students in different subjects. 

National Digital Library (

Students, researchers, lifelong learners, and differently-abled learners can utilize the extensive academic content available in different formats in major disciplines and all leading languages. 

Shodhganga (

Research and Ph.D. students can access around 2, 60,000 Electronic Thesis and Dissertations and can subsequently deposit their thesis for open access by the entire scholarly community. 

E-Shodh Sindhu ( )

It provides current and archival access to students to more than 15000 core and peer-reviewed journals from various publishers, centrally-funded technical institutions, universities, and colleges. Moreover, they can also access the citations, bibliography, and factual database in different disciplines. 

Vidwan ( )

It includes a complete database of experts, prospective collaborators, and policymakers and research scholars in the country. Faculty members can register themselves on this portal to help expand the database of experts.

TTC Jodhpur

Polytechnic students can be benefitted from this as it includes 4000 video that covers the entire polytechnic course in Rajasthan. The e-lectures have been prepared by the lecturers of different Government Polytechnic Colleges (GPC). Access the following YouTube channel link:

This YouTube Channel has been started by Regional College along with UOT and Deepshikha College to provide exclusive online content to students through videos in various disciplines.
