Dr. Rajesh Mehra course coordinator NIITR took the session forward on Day 1 and spoke about the VLSI design. Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating an integrated circuit (IC) by combining thousands of transistors into a single chip. After his InDepth knowledge about VLSI technology and most ICs, Dr. Rajesh Mehra course coordinator NIITR took the session ahead and spoke about all the CAD Tools like DesignCAD, Solidworks 3D CAD, Vectorworks, FreeCAD, Creo Parametric 3D Modeling Software, TurboCAD Deluxe 20 and many more.. He also apoke about logic optimization . Logic optimization, a part of logic synthesis in electronics, is the process of finding an equivalent representation of the specified logic circuit under one or more specified constraints.

The third day took its turn when Mr HS Jatana shared his impeccabe knowledge on the analog design. Analog design which is part of integrated circuit design and focuses on signal fidelity, amplification and filtering. Those who perform the function of analog design are qualified electrical engineers. The students as well studied the realization of current-controlled sources with and without active-feedback He also told about the Current Mirrors, Current Buffer Design for analog.

On the last and final day a Valedictory session was held. In the Valedictory Session, they presented the gist of all five days course. Most of them faculty join this program and learn about how to design a VLSI chip and encourage to all faculty to join next faculty development program which is conducted by NIIITR. On behalf of RCERT family gave thanks to NIIITR team to do this such type of activity conducted in RCERT campus.
