International Conference and III People Specialist Excellence Award Ceremony held at RCERT Campus
Recently, a two-day international conference in collaboration with People Specialist was organized on 26 and 27 December 2019 to discuss the Importance of Inter-disciplinary Studies in Higher Education. The conference was a spectacular event with high-level participation from the renowned personalities in the field of higher education. The opening ceremony was attended by different intellectuals such as research paper presenters, keynote speakers, students as well as guests from both national and international levels. In addition to this, a total of five keynote speakers who were invited to the conference highlighted the role and scope of interdisciplinary studies by sharing their ideas and views.
Dr. Ankit Gandhi, Organizing Secretary and the Research Coordinator of the University discussed the core objective of the conference on the first day. In the ever-changing, dynamic environment, the relevance of interdisciplinary studies cannot be overlooked as such educational programs combine two or more academic disciplines. Thus, this kind of learning promotes essential skills like creative problem solving and critical thinking. The event became all the more engaging with the welcoming speech of dignitaries like Dr. Mahesh Joshi (Chief Whip, Govt. of Rajasthan, Jaipur), Dr. M.K. Vajpayee (VC- Capital University, Kodrama and Co-Chairman ASSOCHAM, New Delhi), Dr. Nem Singh (Chairman, International Human Rights Organization, New Delhi), Dr. H.C. Ganeshia (Senior Advocate and Chancellor, Vishva Hindi Sahitya Parishad and Chairman of Act and Rule Update and Review Committee), Dr. Anoop Srivastava (Former Joint Secretary, Higher Education Department, Govt. of Rajasthan) along with our respected Chancellor and Vice-Chairman’s speech.
The audience who attended the conference benefited from the two technical sessions that were headed by the five keynote speakers. Our honorable keynote speakers for the event were Prof. (Dr.) Y.P. Singh (Professor Emeritus, Electronics and Communication Engineering), Prof. (Dr.) S.C. Tyagi (Professor, Computer Science Engineering), Dr. Vandana Khunar (Associate Professor of Chemistry, BITS, Pilani), Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Gaur (Professor, Computer Science Engineering), and Gautam Thawani (Director, Forensic Beauro of India, New Delhi). Furthermore, the conference proceeded with the People Specialist Excellence Award ceremony in which responsible citizens were rewarded who made potential contributions in social upliftment through educational reforms. Some of the award recipients were Dr. Anil Sharma, Director, Green Heaven Institute of Management & Research, Nagpur; Dr. Sanjay Gaur, JECRC Foundation, and Dr. Anil Sharma, Director, Green Heaven Institute of Management & Research, Nagpur.
On the second day of the conference in the closing ceremony, Certification of Participation was distributed to all the participants and it was announced that the research papers that were presented in the conference will be published in the UGC CARE/ SCOPUS journal. The closing ceremony was addressed by Prof. N.P. Kaushik (Former Vice-Chancellor, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota) and Prof. P.C. Trivedi (Former Vice-Chancellor, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur and Awadh University, Faizabad). Furthermore, Dean Research and Organizing Secretary Dr. Ankit Gandhi, on behalf of the UOT family gave a heartfelt thanks and expressed sincere gratitude to all the participants and dignitaries for making this conference successful and a mega event in the history of University of Technology and RCERT.
